Current Favs {Aug}

Well hello August! It's been awhile since I've came at y'all with a current favs! So these are my top 5 favorite items in the last 2 months!

1. Posh Blueberry Face mask!

I have VERY sensitive skin so I was worried about this at first. Well obviously it was made for people like us! It soothes your skin while moisturizing it! Top it off it's only $18!! Try one here

2. Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lip

Ok if you've followed me for a while you know I find my new fav lipsticks about 3 times a year... I mean sorry, I'm a woman and we change our minds! I have tulle and beeper and  and I literally wear them everyday. The color stays on forever and it feel totally weightless. The shipping charge also isn't expensive which is nice because you cant buy this brand from Ulta or Sephora

3. Matisse Coconut Booties 

 If you follow me on West Avenue you've seen me sporting these in almost ALL the new arrivals. I LOVE THEM! Fringe is my favorite and they're SO comfy! 4. Chokers 

My inner 13 year old is excited to announce that chokers are back in style! Personally I'm not ALL about them. HOWEVER, I'm REALLY into these boho ones my girl Shelbi makes at Texas Heart Jewelry!

5. Cactus

Allcactus everything! Me and every other southern girl right now are loving cactus. I linked the two items West Ave had right now. Top and Kimono.

Dupe or dud??

Ok, spoiler alert. 

NOT A DUPE.

However, you may want to keep reading because even though in my opinion, Elf mascara is NOT a duplicate for It Cosmetics. I still have lots of great things to say about both products!

I've been using It Cosmetics mascara for getting close to a year now. If you've followed me awhile you know my lashes are very short due to a bad lash extension job years ago! It Cosmetics gives my lashes the volume and length that I need. However I'm more than aware that $25 isn't in everyone's budget for mascara, which is why I became VERY excited over my (what I thought) was my Elf dupe find!

They have similar brush, but the elf brush is smaller and thinner which makes sense that it doesn't give your lashes as my volume! The pro is the length! It gave my lashes JUST as much length as the It! I know some of my friends have thick lashes but need volume. If that's the case for you go grab a tube of this $3 mascara!

I personally like to use both of them for maximum strength mascara ;)

Bottom Line.

I wouldn't say its a dud but most def not a dupe.

Hands to myself dress

I'm literally so OBSESSED with this dress, I actually restocked it JUST so I could have one..

It fits perfect, and is also the perfect length!

Happy Hask Hair

Just in case you didn't read my last Hask Hair post (here) I have a mild obsession with it!! I was super excited for them to send me another part of the bamboo oil series the strengthening line! I REALLY needed this!! Just like the previous one I tried it lathered SO well! It doesn't have a super amazing smell, but that's really the only con for me on this entire line! The shampoo and conditioner are about $6 each. Then the oil and deep conditioner are around $4 each! I use this line almost every single time I shampoo my hair!
